Dr. Wikle is a native of Orange County and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine. He then completed a Master of Public Health degree at the University of California, Berkeley with an emphasis in preventative medicine. He earned his M.D. degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, and completed his training in internal medicine at the U.C. Irvine and Long Beach Veterans hospital program.
Dr. Wikle was awarded the title of Fellow of American College of Physicians in 2006 for his continued contributions to medicine which includes teaching medical students from U.C. Irvine where he is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Wikle enjoys being with his family, camping, surfing , stand up paddle boarding and doing just about anything outdoors.
In addition to primary care services , Dr Wikle has advance training in cholesterol management and is lifetime member of the National Lipid Association.
